Emily Brinkley: Momma in Web Development

Meagan Michal, Jun, 18 2017 | < 1 min read

Emily Brinkley is a mom of 2, and a front end developer. She was in PR & Marketing before having kids, and decided to make a switch to staying home when she got pregnant. Once she learned that Tech Talent South was in Charlotte, she jumped on the opportunity to start a career as a freelance front end developer. She has since taken a job as a client success engineer at AddShoppers!

In her Face of TTS Segment, Emily Brinkley talks to us about learning to code as a mom of young kids, the benefits of structured learning environments, the growth that comes from being a freelance front end developer, and FREE KIDS CODE!
